Dr Sal Shahidi

Bio

Dr Sal Shahidi graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours from the University of Sydney in 2006.

He commenced working in private practice with a special interest in Periodontics and held a teaching position at the University of Sydney within the discipline of Oral Surgery. During this time he also obtained a prestigious Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons by examination.

After 7 years in general practice he decided to pursue his interest in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry by undertaking full time specialist training, graduating with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics).

Sal is a registered specialist periodontist and has lectured locally and nationally on periodontal disease and management, dental implants, bone grafting and peri-implant diseases.

Outside of the clinic Sal enjoys an active lifestyle and is a keen nature and wildlife photographer.
