What is a Sinus Lift?
When trying to replace your missing upper molar teeth your maxillary sinus may leave a reduced bone height available for implant placement requiring a slight shifting of its position to allow implant placement. A sinus grafting procedure can be completed at the same time of the implant placement or at a separate appointment depending on how much grafting is required. This will become evident once a CT scan is taken and will be discussed at the consultation.
